Murderess

This short is based on a feature-length film concept titled “Murderess,” which centers on Belle Gunness, a prolific early 20th century serial killer who placed “lonely hearts” letters in Midwestern newspapers to lure wealthy men to her farm. After hosting them for dinner, she’d poison and dismember them, steal their money and bury them on her property (or feed them to her pigs). She amassed a large fortune, but at great personal cost.
